Lydford Summer Fair Balloon Meet

This weekend we attended the Lydford Balloon Meet in Devon. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor the area is a stunning place to fly from. Organised by Chris Hathaway on behalf of the Western Region British Balloon and Airship Club the event coincides with the Lydford Summer Fair. The weather this year proved challenging and only the bold took to the skies on a quick flight towards the English Channel.

With the weather looking windy the evening flight was cancelled however we were able to support the Summer fair by providing a Tethered glow with our Keep Calm Demo Balloon. This team up with several other balloons created a stunning backdrop for the 1940’s themed musical group the Hummingbirds.
