Kubicek Balloons have designed two types of fuel cylinders. Designed after listening to customer comments we have built the most easy to use fuel cylinders on the market. Our fuel cylinders come in two sizes known as Queen and King Tanks and suit all types of Ballooning.

Kubicek Queen Duplex Fuel Cylinder
Our Queen Tanks can hold 61.2 Litres of useable Fuel, When others offer 60 litre tanks only 80% of that volume is usable leaving you with 48 Litres or less of Fuel. With Kubicek Queen Tanks we have built them to 72 Litre to ensure you get the amount of fuel you expect. Our Queen tanks can also hold up to 85% volume due to the way they are built and have been designed to be easy to operate.

Kubicek Prince Duplex Fuel Cylinder
Our latest tank is called the Prince Tank which is capable of holding 72 Litres of useable fuel. This tank is perfect for extra fuel on board in the space of the Queen tank and fit within a Basket without the top of the tank showing over the basket.

Kubicek King Duplex Fuel Cylinder
Our King Tanks have been designed for the commercial Ballooning Sector in mind and can hold 82.5 Litre of useable fuel which make them the biggest fuel cylinders on the market. Kubicek King Tanks like the Queen Tanks have been designed for ease of use enabling you to quickly change the fuel cylinder and move to the next one as easy as possible.

Kubicek Fuel Cylinder Checks
As per all Hot air balloon manufactured fuel cylinders they will need to be checked once a year as part of a Hot air Balloon inspection. Every Ten years the PRV and PPT checks and replacements will need to be carried out as per EASA and CAA and Manufacturer guidance. We are happy to assist in recommending places and repair stations that are set up to do these checks on Kubicek Cylinders in the UK.
